Ooh! Oils of Heaven Natural Cacay Anti-Ageing Face Oil

Ooh! Oils of Heaven Natural Cacay Anti-Ageing Face Oil*, £39/30ml

Firstly, I love the punchy packaging on this product! It's simple, yet eye-catching. The glass bottle and dropper applicator are luxurious and practical. Facial oils are becoming more and more popular, so there is a huge variety to choose from. Cacay oil in particular claims to have wonderful anti-ageing properties.
Wild Cacay nuts are harvested in the Colombian jungle and are cold-pressed to produce the oil. According to scientific studies, Cacay oil contains 50% more vitamin E and twice the amount of Linoleic Acid than Argan Oil, as well as three times more Retinol than Rosehip Oil. Sounds pretty great, doesn't it?! This is a dry, odourless natural oil, which is fast-absorbing, so great to use morning or night and underneath your make-up base. It's a really pleasant product to use and leaves my skin deeply hydrated and nourished. It helps keep any dry patches at bay and calms any irritated or red areas. I love to apply this as a moisturiser after using a face mask. This oil is really luxurious and a pleasure to have in my stash. Only a few drops are required per application, meaning this bottle will last ages!

Ingredients:
100% Caryodendron Orinocense Seed Oil.

Botanicals Nourish Body Polish

Botanicals Nourish Body Polish*, £24/175g

Rose geranium is one of my favourite scents and this body polish smells gorgeous! The paste-like formula contains cane sugar and Himalayan mineral crystals to exfoliate, along with nourishing shea butter, sunflower seed oil and lavender flower oil. With 82% organic ingredients and pretty, blue packaging, this body polish is a lovely product.
It is suggested to use one teaspoon of polish and mix with a little warm water and apply over the body. I find I need to use more than this amount to get a good scrub out of it. It's really pleasant to use and leaves my skin soft and smooth.

Food & Drink - This Month I've Been Trying...

Ombar Organic Chocolate Coconut & Vanilla Centre*, £1.99/35g and Ombar Organic Chocolate Raspberry & Coconut Centre*, £1.99/35g
These organic and vegan-friendly chocolates were very rich. The raspberry and coconut one was a little too bitter and sickly for me, but had a nice fruity undertone. The coconut and vanilla bar was a little lighter and the flavour combination was really lovely.
(Coconut & Vanilla Ingredients:
Coconut cream*, coconut sugar*, raw cacao*, coconut oil*, cocoa butter*, ground vanilla powder*. *certified organic. Cocoa solids 60% minimum.)
(Raspberry & Coconut Ingredients:
coconut cream*, coconut sugar*, raw cacao*, coconut oil*, cocoa butter*, raspberry powder*, ground vanilla powder*. *certified organic. Cocoa solids 60% minimum.)
Tesco Organic Sweetened Soya Milk, £1/1 litre
This soya milk is the cheapest I've found, with organic ingredients. I love it in my coffees, cereals and recipes. I've tried cheaper soya milks, which are no match at all and taste rather unpleasant! I'd definitely recommend this (or the unsweetened version) milk as a dairy-free option.
Kallo Organic Milk Chocolate Thin Rice Cakes, £1.49/90g
These organic, vegetarian and gluten-free rice cakes with a chocolate covering were a really lovely snack and tasted pretty good!
(Ingredients:
Organic Milk Chocolate (59%) (Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Full Cream Milk Powder, Organic Cocoa Mass), Organic Wholegrain Brown Rice.)
Special K Nourish Cereals*, £2.99/320-330g
I was really impressed with these new Nourish cereals from Special K; they are low in sugar and fat and taste delicious! I loved each variety, with the Nuts & Seeds hazelnut, almond & pumpkin seed one being my favourite. I'd definitely recommend trying these for a quick, healthy breakfast option. These are great with soya milk or yoghurt.
(Nuts & Seeds Ingredients
Cereals (Wholewheat {34%}, Rice {19%}, Wheat Bran {6.5%}, Barley {3%}, Malted Barley Flour {1.5%}, Oat Flour {1.5%}), Linseed and Sunflower Seed Cluster (15%) (Cereals {Whole Oats [6.5%], Rye [1.5%]}, Wheat Crisp {Wheat Flour, Malt, Barley Malt Extract}, Sugar, Rice Piece {Rice Flour, Corn Flour, Sugar}, Sunflower Seeds, Linseed, Modified Starch, Barley Malt Extract, Sunflower Oil, Salt, Emulsifier {Soy Lecithin}, Flavourings, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, Ammonium Hydrogen Carbonate, Antioxidant {Mixed Tocophorols}, Skimmed Milk Powder), Sugar, Pumpkin Seeds(6%), Nuts (6%) (Hazelnuts, Almonds), Glucose Syrup, Barley Malt Flavouring, Salt, Natural Flavouring, Vitamins and Minerals: Niacin, Iron, Zinc, Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Vitamin B1 (Thiamin), Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12.)
