The LoveLula November Beauty Box

The LoveLula Monthly Subscription Beauty Box*, £12.50

I was really excited to be reviewing the November beauty box from LoveLula! The total product value is an amazing £50 and there is a wonderful selection of products this month.

Included in November's box was:
1. Humble Sweet Pea & Verbena Hand Cream, £8/75ml
Okay, so this is my new favourite hand cream! The packaging and practical size is great and the classic, floral scent is really lovely! This is quite a thick cream, so only a little is needed per application. It's really moisturising and the scent sticks around for quite a while after applying.
2. Madara SOS Hydra Repair Intensive Serum, £37/30ml
This intensive serum promises to restore deep layers of moisture and balance to stressed and dehydrated skin, helping to protect skin from environmental factors. With a blend of Northern Peony, linseed and hyaluronic acid, this should absorb quickly and give long-lasting results. I cannot wait to try this! Sounds like a winter skincare must-have!
3. PHB Neroli & Immortelle Skin Brighten Gel, £13.75/120ml
This seems like quite an unsual product, so I'm really intrigued to try it out. It contains neroli, licorice and immortelle to brighten and even out skin.
4. MOA Single Shot Fortifying Green Bath Potion, £2.75/10ml
With peppermint, fennel, fir needle and sweet birch, this bath potion aims to de-stress and calm the mind, while relieving aches and pains. Sounds great as a pick-me-up in stressful situations!
5. Ooh! Oils of Heaven Organic Argan Moisture Retention Face Oil, £9.50/15ml
You can never have too many facial oils, right? This organic argan oil aims to regenerate skin tissue and help skin retain its natural moisture. This oil is rich in vitamin E and fatty acids, linolelic, linolenic and oleic.

Natural Hand Sanitisers

I love my hand sanitisers! They are so handy and practical when you can't access hand-washing facilities or when you are just looking for a quick freshen-up.

My all-time favourite hand sanitiser is this lovely lavender one from Dr. Bronner's, but I've recently been testing out this 100% Natural Sanitising Water*, £2.49/50ml from AQAINT, also available in a larger spray bottle for the home.
This natural sanitiser is so safe to use, it can even be used by babies of all ages! Excellent news for health conscious parents. It's ideal for sensitive skin and is safe even when swallowed. You can even use it to clean contact lenses!

The spray pump dispenser is really practical and easy to use. I think this is a great product, especially for families. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, whereas other sanitisers containing alcohol do. My only gripe would be that for me personally, I'd prefer it to have a scent, because my hands don't smell clean after use. Obviously it is scent-free for allergy reasons e.t.c., but it would be great to have a naturally-scented option available. So, for now, the lavender sanitiser is still my favourite!

Water (aqua), hypochlorous acid.

Skin Blossom Cleanse & Nourish Body Wash

Skin Blossom Cleanse & Nourish Body Wash, RRP £6.95/300 ml

Last month I picked up a few bargains from the natural beauty section in-store at TK Maxx. One of those products was the Cleanse & Nourish Body Wash from Skin Blossom. I managed to pick mine up for just £3.99!
I'm not usually drawn to citrus scents, but this orange and aloe vera body wash is really refreshing and pleasant to use. The pump dispenser is really practical and the product lathers well. It gently cleanses and nourishes skin, without drying it out; great for sensitive skin! This body wash contains 76% organic ingredients (certified by The Soil Association) and is vegan-friendly. I love this brand and have really enjoyed each product I have tried so far! I'd definitely recommend trying them out, as they have good ethics and are reasonably priced.

Let me know if you've tried any Skin Blossom products!

My October At A Glance

In A Nutshell:
During October, I got a puppy! This is something I've dreamed of for so long, and due to a recent change in circumstances, this dream was realised. Meet Wilson, the Springer Spaniel:
He's adorable, playful and great company! I can't imagine life without him now. He's almost 13 weeks old and is enjoying his walking and he's doing well with training.
I also celebrated my 27th birthday during October and received some lovely gifts! I've almost finished all of the edible ones!

Cinema Trips:
Bridget Jones's Baby - In the run-up to watching this, my Mum, sister and I watched the first two films and couldn't wait to see this one! We really enjoyed it; it was really funny, had a good story and it had a good ending. I'd definitely recommend watching this if you're a fan of the original films. I think the first film remains my favourite! ☆★★★★

Books Read:
The Boy at the Top of the Mountain by John Boyne - This is an intriguing, yet chilling read, about an orphaned boy, Pierrot, who ends up living with his Aunt in Hitler's German mountain retreat.  Pierrot is impressed by Hitler's power and stature, and they become close quickly, opening Pierrot's eyes to a whole new world. ☆★★★★

How was your October?

Humble Rose & Frankincense Bath Honey

Humble Rose & Frankincense Bath Honey*, £12/275ml

I love nothing more than sinking into a hot bath, brimming with luxurious bubbles! I recently chose to try out this gorgeous bath honey from natural beauty brand, Humble. Packed with biodegradable ingredients such as honey, oat kernel extract and echinacea flower extract and housed in a glass bottle with pretty labelling, this product looks great on display in the bathroom.
The scent combination sounded right up my street, but it doesn't come across that strongly, and has more of a herbal scent to it, with floral undertones. I still like it and find it really calming and pleasant. Add your favourite face mask to the mix and you've got the perfect pamper evening!
