My Scotland Holiday In Pictures

It's been just over two weeks since I got back from my holiday in Scotland with my family. Things have been rather hectic since, so I'm just getting round to sharing the holiday highlights with you now! The location is near North Berwick in East Lothian.
I captured some truly stunning sunsets!

We spent the day at East Links Family Park where the kids enjoyed playing and feeding all the cute farm animals.
We took a rather muddy riverside walk to Hailes Castle.
We had a bonfire and toasted marshmallows on the beach!
Anna was as cute as ever!
My Mum and I took a boat trip to The Bass Rock and treated ourselves to a whippy ice-cream afterwards!
My Mum, Kathryn, Anna and I went out for lunch at the East Linton Nurseries & Tearoom. We over-indulged, but it was so good! We walked off a few calories afterwards.
My Mum and I took the train to Edinburgh and went on an Auld Reekie tour, including Greyfriars Cemetery and the underground vaults. Both were really interesting! It was quite creepy in the vaults, especially when my camera stopped working in certain areas! We'd love to check out another tour next time.
My Mum and I climbed the Berwick Law, taking a rather scenic route up and a rather steep trek down! Unfortunately it turned out to be really, really hot - not great for climbing.

So, I had a great time with my family and being by the seaside everyday was really good for my soul!

  1. Adding Scotland to my list of places I MUST visit, amazing photos xx

  2. Oooh thanks for sharing this Emma! I loved viewing your holiday photographs. There are some stunners, you have such an eye particularly for landscapes. Your family seem lovely, the younger ones look to be having fun at the family park. I enjoy visiting tearooms too… I love a good hot chocolate! I’m sure you created some happy memories on your holiday. :-) xx

  3. I visited Scotland in August, and I recognise some of the places in your photos--which, by the way, are awesome. It's definitely my favourite country in the world. :)
