Botanicals Revitalising Rose Clay & Rosehip Face Mask

Botanicals Revitalising Rose Clay & Rosehip Mask*, £25/70g

I've recently been testing out this revitalising face mask, handmade in rural England, from natural and Soil Association certified organic beauty brand, Botanicals. Housed in one of their classic recyclable glass jars, with pretty pink labelling, this mask contains ingredients such as cold-pressed rosehip oil, kaolin clay, shea butter and sunflower seed oil. The product has a whipped texture and can be melted between fingers before applying to your face. You can also mix the product with a little flower water. After a good ten minutes, the mask can be washed off with a soft flannel.

Unusually for a clay mask, this is non-drying on the skin, which is great for us with sensitive skin! This face mask feels lovely to use and helps to draw out impurities and bring blemishes to the surface to help speed up the healing process. It helps to soften and hydrate skin, leaving it smooth and cared for. This is the perfect face mask for those who find most clay masks too harsh and drying on their skin!

Ingredients:
Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter*, kaolin, glycerine***, cetyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, rosa canina fruit oil*, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil*, ricinus communis seed oil*, decyl glucoside, camellia sinensis flower extract*, parfum*, rosa centifloia (rose) flower oil*, pelargonium graveolens (rose geranium) flower oil*, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower oil*, cymbopogon martinii flower oil*, cananga odorata flower oil*, tocopherol, geraniol**, citronellol**, linalool**, limonene**, citral**.

  1. I've tried this mask as well and I love the fact that it doesn't dry the skin out.

  2. Ah lovely post! This product sounds perfect for pamper evenings and would be nice for my sensitive skin. I love the luxurious packaging too. I was wondering if you knew where was the best place to buy from this brand? I’ve never tried anything by Botanicals, but have been intrigued after hearing about it from you. Sending best wishes for the week ahead! :-) Xx
