Shop My Stash: Lavender

I love lavender. This may well have been passed down to me from my Mum, who also loves the stuff! I love the scent, I love the physical beauty of the plant and I love the many properties it offers. Today I am sharing with you my stash lavender beauty products.
Avalon Organics Lavender Luminosity Facial Cleansing Milk, £7.49/198g
This cleansing milk is really gentle and calming on the skin and it has a classic lavender scent. It's not great at removing make-up on it's own, but it's great at cleansing bare skin and removing the dirt and oil build-up of the day, or as part of a double cleanse when removing make-up. I like the pump dispenser and usually find one pump per application is enough.
JĀSÖN Calming Lavender Hand Soap, £4.99/480ml
This semi-opaque gel formula hand wash is really gentle while effectively cleansing hands. It has quite a subtle lavender scent and lathers very lightly.
Deep Steep Lavender Vanilla Argan Oil Body Lotion, £6.75/236ml
If you're not a huge lover of lavender as a scent, I think you'd really enjoy this product. The scent is predominantly vanilla, with a subtle floral touch of lavender, creating a sweet, inviting aroma. The lotion is quite thick and you only need a little per application. I use this mainly as a hand cream and find it really moisturising and gentle.
Dr. Bronner's Lavender Hand Sanitizing Spray, £2.99/59ml
I keep this in my handbag at all times. It always comes in handy when there are no hand-washing facilities available or you just need to freshen up your hands after eating e.t.c. This lasts me ages!
Avalon Organics Lavender Luminosity Exfoliating Enzyme Scrub, £8.45/113g
The formula of this facial exfoliator is a gritty paste, with a classic lavender scent. Using a small amount of product and massaging into my face, this leaves my skin really smooth and refreshed. I use this every three days or so. I've had no irritation from this product and so I find it works well with my sensitive skin.
Badger Sleep Balm, £4.99/21g
This balm has a pleasant, yet subtle, scent and has lots of uses; massage into temples and under nose before sleeping, use on dry skin areas or even as a lip balm. I really like using this to soothe and help heal dry, chapped skin on my hands.

What are your favourite lavender beauty products?

  4. I love lavender too! I've used a bunch of Avalon organics lavender products, I think the last one was their shampoo (not bad but not moisturizing enough for me).
Have you tried lavender tea? I'm a big fan of lavender earl grey teas, a few of my favorite brands make them.

    1. Hi, Lulle! Avalon Organics are definitely one of my favourite natural beauty brands. Have you tried Living Naturally soapnut shampoo? It really softens and hydrates hair - I use it 1-2 times per week for a deep cleanse. xxx

  5. Oooh I love these! I always enjoy a good lavender/vanilla combo :)

I love freshening up my place by adding a few drops of lavender oil in a spray bottle and spraying it everywhere -- my bed, curtains, couch, etc. It leaves a really nice, long lasting smell.
