Work aside, June was a good month! We went on a little trip to Durdledoor, on the Jurassic Coastline, at the beginning of the month, where I of course enjoyed an ice-cream and did lots of walking. We went to see the much-anticipated Jurassic World at the cinema and loved it! I wasn't too fond of Bryce Dallas Howard's 80's-style wardrobe, though!
On the last Friday of the month, we flew up to Aberdeen to visit the family and to celebrate my Granny's 85th birthday! We didn't see much of our nieces as they were at school and nursery, but it was great to catch up with the rest of the family. My youngest sister is expecting her first child - how exciting! I've got some catching up to do...
We went for lots of walks, including a trip up to the seaside town of Cullen, where we enjoyed a late lunch at the chip shop and two helpings of the famous local handmade ice-cream! Most surprisingly, we enjoyed lovely, sunny weather in Scotland, with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees, along with the most spectacular thunderstorm at 3am one night!
June's favourites are as follows:
I started using Barefoot SOS's Face & Body Rescue Cream and was really impressed with how quickly the dermatitis on my hands started to clear up - full review coming soon.
We enjoyed binge-watching the latest season of Game Of Thrones, but as always it was over too soon!
