Space-Saving Storage Solutions For The Home

I love storage. Couldn't live without it! Now, although we live in a decent sized property, is does lack storage, so I'm always after space-saving options! Storage does not have to be boring; get creative! Storage can be pretty, colourful, stylish and practical! I've picked out some great space-saving options that are sure to make life a little less cluttered and more organised.

1. La Redoute Lindus Bathroom Wall Mirror, £45
Isn't this a lovely mirror? I can just imagine showcasing a few select, luxurious beauty products on the handy shelf! You could even add an individual touch by painting the bare wood with your chosen colour!
2. Hygena Frosted Insert Under Sink Storage Unit, £44.99 £35.99
If you have a pedestal sink and are lacking bathroom storage, you need to get yourself one of these! We have a similar one, which is a white wooden affair (looking rather shabby these days, actually), and it is so handy! All of our current in-use beauty items are stored in there, all nicely concealed behind the doors. This one by Hygena is super sleek and I think the frosted glass panels in the doors add a luxe touch. I am very tempted to replace our old one with this!
3. Simplehuman Shower Caddy, £29.99
Shower caddies can look really tacky and undesirable, but I think this one by Simplehuman is rather sleek and stylish! It looks really easy to keep clean, too. Perfect for storing all your in-shower goodies!
4. Matalan Bathroom Sparkle Trinket Box, £4
This little trinket box is really pretty and can be used to store whatever you like; cotton buds, cleansing pads, hair ties, anything!

1. Artis Slide Out Storage Tower, £17.99
If you have any narrow spaces in your kitchen (often next to an appliance), then this storage tower could fill it! In white plastic, it doesn't do much aesthetically, but you could always spray paint it silver to add a touch of class! This would come in really handy for little bits and bobs; you could even store baking trays e.t.c. in it.
2. Lakeland Pisa 18 Jar Spice Rack, £13.99
We have this exact spice rack, which fits nicely into a corner on our kitchen worktop. You can get really creative with spice storage these days; I love the magnetic wall with spice tins!
3. Lakeland 4 Tier Over-Door Storage Rack, £19.99
If you have a pantry or other cupboard nearby, this over-door storage solution would be a big help!
4. Next Cream Heart Sink Caddy, £8
Tidy up your sink area with this cute caddy for your dishcloths and washing-up liquid.
5. Beau and Elliot Set Of 3 Storage Jars With Lids, £29.99
Add a splash of colour to your kitchen with these handy storage jars, perfect for keeping your tea, coffee and sugar fresh and on-hand.
6. Cooksmart Set Of 3 Printed Cake Storage Tins, £16 £9.99
When not in use for lovely freshly-baked cakes, these pretty cake tins will nest inside each other nicely and can be stored on top of your cupboards.
7. IKEA Stenstorp Wall Shelf With Drawers, £40
I really love this shelving storage; the plastic lidded "drawers" would great for storing dry pasta, flour, cereals e.t.c. inside.

6. Hygena Harriette Double Bed Frame, £179.99 £134.99

6. Neofurn Ringo White High Gloss TV Cabinet, £299
Look at all the concealed storage! This is definitely on my wishlist. This will keep unsightly cables out of view, plus you can store all your favourite DVDs down the sides!

Do you love storage? Any tips for space-saving storage solutions?
