April At A Glance + Monthly Favourites

April seemed to last forever, didn't it?! Or was that just me? And we had such wonderful weather for the most part; we enjoyed a lovely, sunny Easter weekend. I honestly can't remember much of the month, so obviously the first few weeks were pretty quiet! We did travel to London for a three night stay and had a lot of fun. You can read about the trip here. I was really exhausted and a bit under the weather when we returned home, so I was glad of a few days to relax before returning to work. Thankfully it's my last night tonight, and I've got a nice week off to look forward to! Let's hope the weather warms up again; I'd love to do some exploring around the local area and find some new walks.
Unfortunately my (Dad's Mum) Nana passed away on Sunday, as she had been ill for some time. We weren't particularly close, but it's a shame that I hadn't seen her for many years.
As you may have noticed, I've spruced up my blog design a little and changed the colour scheme. I wanted to add some personalised touches to my blog design, hence the new header featuring a few of my favourite things! I've also added a fixed navigational bar to the top of the page, which looks much neater and is more practical and easily accessible.

This month's favourites:

Twinings Nutty Chocolate Assam Tea is a chocolate lover's dream. It has a genuine chocolate and hazelnut aftertaste and feels like a real treat!
We really enjoyed watching Bates Motel and are eagerly awaiting the next season! I think the actors were chosen really well for each role and I love seeing Norman's developing story.
I discovered and ultimately declared Green & Black's Organic Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream as my new favourite ice-cream! It is just beautiful; just as vanilla ice-cream should be.

I'm so happy to have this hand cream back in my life! Faith In Nature's Coconut Hand Cream is my go-to daytime hand cream. It's non-irritating, soothing, restorative and easily absorbed! I just wish they had a larger size available!

How was your April?
