Iberian Cruise Diaries, Part Two | Lifestyle

(Part One)
Our second port of call was Gibraltar, UK. We didn't book an excursion here as we decided we would explore the island ourselves. We were going to get the cable car up to the top of the rock and then walk back down, but as the queue for the cable car was so long, we decided we'd make our own way up the rock - I mean, it couldn't be that far, could it?!

We then embarked on our long, steep and very hot hike! From the time we left the ship till the time we returned, we'd been gone (on foot!) for about 4-4.5 hours! My feet were absolutely killing me! One poor toe is still healing now. I have to say though, it was worth it in the end to see the apes! The babies were so cute and playful.

After a much deserved rest and refreshing shower, we got changed for our first evening meal in the main dining room which was lovely.P9180117ed
