Review: Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off Face Mask | Beauty

Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off Face Mask, £1/each

With anti-bacterial honey from the Manuka bushes of New Zealand and fragrant jasmine, this face mask is aimed at combination/oily skin.
The texture of this mask is quite thin and sticky, due to the honey content. It spreads easily and gives a good, even coverage. The honey scent is quite strong and sickly which was a little off-putting. I left this on for the recommended 20 minutes, after gently cleansing my face with a warm flannel. I'd say about 70% of the mask peeled off pretty well, with the rest having to be removed with a warm flannel.
I think this mask gave my skin a good cleanse and it did help dry out my blemishes and slightly reduce redness too. My skin also felt a little softer. As I know there are other MJ face masks that do more for my skin, I wouldn't re-purchase this one. I'm sure I'll be placing an order soon to try out more products!

  1. Whenever I here the words 'Manuka Honey', I go weak in the knees, and also think of Lion King.
I just love the idea of manuka honey in general, it's a shame that this one was a let down, but I think you'd really like the rest of their range in Holland & Barrett!

    Lots of looove xoxo

  2. To be fair, I think this was my first product using Manuka honey, so I shall have to test out some other products to see what else it can do. Thanks for stopping by! :) xxx
