"Rhassoul mud, which is highly absorbent, works with cocoa powder to draw out all the dirt and impurities and give a deep cleanse. Fresh mint stimulates and tones the skin, whilst linseed and cocoa butter soften and moisturise. Smoothe a generous layer of this mask onto your face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes."
A pot of chocolate mint to spread all over your face - what could be better?! Well, if it was edible, that would be better, obviously.
I found this face mask easy to apply; it has a fairly smooth texture and gives an even coverage. It smells gorgeous - just like mint chocolate chip ice-cream!
I think I got 6 full applications from this pot, with a little left-over which I used for blemish-prone areas. I do spread face masks on pretty thickly, so people with a lighter hand would probably get 7 full applications. I used the face mask every 2-3 days.
After the first use, my pores were visibly reduced, especially on and around my nose. After the second use, my pores were visibly reduced and my skin's texture was smoother and softer. I left the face mask on for 15+ minutes; I would advise not leaving it on longer than the recommended time if you suffer from sensitive skin as it did leave my face quite red for some time afterwards. The mask does dry on your face, but not completely and without the uncomfortable tightness which is often associated with face masks. One thing to bear in mind is, if you are rinsing this off in the shower, it gets pretty messy with flecks of brown face mask splashing everywhere!
With continued regular use, my skin's texture improved and blemishes and redness were reduced. I felt the mask gave a really deep cleanse with each use. I didn't find the mask helpful in reducing excess oil, but I still really enjoyed using this delicious-smelling face mask!
