Today's Outfit + #nobuyjuly Update! | Fashion

Hi guys! It's so hot here in the South West at the moment, so today I went for a simple look and wore my loose printed trousers to try and keep cool. I'm really loving teaming pink tops with these trousers! Apologies for the not-so-brilliant photos, but this is after a day out shopping!
T-Shirt, Primark | (similar) Trousers, H&M | Sandals, Asda | Bag, Osprey | Necklace, eBay

Yes, I did say shopping... So you can probably guess what the #nobuyjuly spending ban update is. We'd wanted to check out TK Maxx for a while, so we took this opportunity to visit one of the retail parks in Poole, and then headed off to Tower Park for lunch at Chiquito (first time there and it was lovely)!

So, I'd actually planned on doing a big shopping spree but I was heavily disappointed in both TK Maxx and nearby Matalan. TK Maxx didn't have anything I was looking for and Matalan seemed to have run out of size 10 in just about anything I actually liked! I did buy one item from Matalan though. I'm sure it will feature on the blog soon (FYI - it's pink!). It cost just £10, so not such a bad spending ban fail, to be fair. I also used a store credit of £35 to buy a new handbag from JustFab. It's tan faux leather and will be great all year round, particularly in Autumn/Winter.

So, yes my spending ban has pretty much come to a premature end, but I think I did really well after 18 days! I posted a few items via Twitter during the ban which I would've liked to have bought, so if you didn't catch them, here they are:
Wanderlust Set of 3 Tealight Candle Holders, RRP £16.95 £7.99
I think these candle holders, featuring paintings by Debra Thomas, are ridiculously pretty!
Lulu & Boo Shea Butter & Jojoba Deep Hair Treatment, £11.50
My hair feels in need of great nourishment and this hair treatment sounds just the ticket!
George @ Asda Distressed Skinny Jeans, £16
I don't have any distressed denim and I thought these jeans looked great for the price.
Dorothy Perkins Mid Height Court Shoes, £23 £15
I'm in great need of a pair of black heels and these faux suede ones look great and are a bargain!
Megan Miller 3 Free Nail Polish in Pink Lily, £4.47
I loved the look of this pastel pink nail polish!
Di Palomo Orange Blossom Range, from £4
Ok, so I said I wanted the whole Orange Blossom range, which to be fair is true, but the main product I want to try is the EDP, £25. I love the smell of orange blossom!

So, if I had bought all these items, that would have cost me a grand total of £79.96!
I've only spent £10 this month, so I've done pretty well! Experiencing a spending ban has made me think harder about my purchases and has helped me realise which ones are unnecessary.

Have a great weekend!
