Amie Morning Dew Matte-Finish Moisturiser | Review

Amie is a cruelty-free, BUAV-approved skincare brand who pride themselves on creating pure and natural products. All of their products are made in the UK.
Amie Morning Dew Matte-Finish Moisturiser, £4.95/100ml
"Morning Dew is a really light daily moisturiser that’s totally mineral oil-free and parabens-free. Quickly and easily absorbed into the skin, it gives skin all the hydration it needs while controlling shine and leaving a smooth, matte finish that’s a perfect base for make-up or facing the day or night ‘au naturel’!"

Firstly, isn't the packaging just so pretty?! I love the eye-catching design. This smells absolutely gorgeous!
This vegan-friendly moisturiser contains organic rosehip, bilberry, natural plant sugars, vitamin E, lemon fruit extract and orange blossom. I have a feeling that it's the orange blossom that creates the wonderful scent as I used to have a body butter containing it which I loved the smell of too!
This product is free from mineral oils and is pH balanced. Looking at the ingredients, the list is pretty long but after some research, a lot of the long-named ingredients are emulsifiers which add to the moisturising properties of the product. It does contain Parfum which may not agree with some people's skin.
The formula is a semi-thick, light yellow cream which spreads evenly onto your skin. It absorbs really well and creates a good base for applying make-up. I haven't had any dry patches on my skin since using this and it doesn't cause my sensitive skin any irritation. I use this every morning after cleansing and toning.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen any oil-reducing results as yet, but I wonder if the effects of other products I'm using contribute to this? Most probably.
I'd love to try the complete Amie skincare range and so after I've finished my current skincare items, I will be looking to purchase more of their products. I'm also thinking of dropping toner from my skincare routine, just to see if this improves the condition of my skin - has anyone else done this?

Have you tried any of Amie's products? What did you think?
