March Empties | Beauty

Wow, I can't believe it's the 1st of April already! That means I'm getting married in just under nine weeks... Yikes!
Anyway, as it's a beginning of a new month, it's time to share with you the beauty products I've finished up during March.
Alberto Balsam Raspberry Shampoo, £1/400ml & Alberto Balsam Raspberry Conditioner, £1/400ml @ Tesco
After the very first application of these products, my hair was soft and shinier! The smell is lovely and fruity and lingers in your hair for hours. These are really good budget haircare products, but unfortunately Alberto Balsam is not a cruelty-free brand and uses the usual harsh chemicals I'd rather avoid.
Re-purchase? No.
Original Source Mint & Tea Tree Anti-Bacterial Handwash, £2.20/250ml @ Tesco
I like to use this Vegan handwash in the kitchen as it's really refreshing and anti-bacterial. It has a lovely, strong mint scent and leaves your hands clean and fresh. Original Source is a cruelty-free brand, owned by PZ Cussons who are not a cruelty-free company.
Re-purchase? Yes.
Vanilla Bliss Body Polish, £?/200ml @ The Body Shop
This body polish smells just like vanilla ice-cream! With vanilla extract and Fair Trade honey, this body polish effectively buffs your dead skin cells away and leaves your skin soft and smelling lovely. The Body Shop is a cruelty-free brand, owned by L'Oreal who are not cruelty-free.

Re-purchase? Yes.
The Sweet Treat Boutique Chocolate Body Cream, £?/50ml
This smells heavenly! A lovely chocolate scent that lingers for hours on your skin. This also leaves a slight sheen on your skin. This is more of a novelty item which doesn't benefit my skin much. This brand is owned by Boots who are not cruelty-free.

Dove Silk Dry Roll On Deodorant, £1.70/50ml @ Chemist Direct
This has a lovely scent; sort of sweet and powdery. It does it's job pretty well and doesn't irritate my skin. These roll on deodorants seem to last forever! After researching what actually goes in to most deodorants, I have now found an alternative product that I use which is natural and cruelty-free (more on that soon). Dove is not a cruelty-free brand.
Re-purchase? No.
Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker EDP, £50 £19.95/100ml @ Fragrance Direct
This perfume has a powdery, feminine scent. I've had this for a while now and although I did like it initially, I'm not so keen on it now. It's quite a strong scent but I do like it when it's faded after a few hours as it has a softer, more delicate scent. This perfume brand is owned by Coty Prestige which is not a cruelty-free company.
Re-purchase? No.
Flawless Finish Foundation in Porcelain, £7.50 @ Eyes Lips Face
I recently re-purchased this as it was almost finished. I wish I hadn't. I'm pretty sure this shade was an OK match for me previously, but now it just looks orange on my skin! The formula is good, however, so if you can get a shade to match your skin then I would recommend this product. e.l.f. is a cruelty-free brand.
Re-purchase? No.
