Hi guys! I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday. We spent most of it at Dean's parents' and had a lovely meal and sweet treats! Dean's Mum has kindly lent me her Kindle today which is how I am able to post this today! It'll be an extra long new in post next Monday!
I decided to do a combined review of these two products as I have been using them in conjunction with each other.
This 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner has a silky, smooth formula which has quite a thin consistency. It gives a good, even coverage and smells lovely with the mango and just a hint of ginger. This product leaves my hair feeling clean and silky soft. It's a great option if you're in a hurry. Used alone, this, product does a good job of cleansing the hair, but leaves my hair a little dry. I try not to use this two days in a row.
With the addition of the leave-in treatment, the result is much more pleasing.
The leave-in treatment has a smooth, creamy gel-like formula with a gorgeous fruity scent which has a hint of warm vanilla.
After towel-drying my hair, I apply this treatment on the lengths of my hair, paying special attention to the ends, and then I blow-dry my hair. If my hair is particularly dry or frizzy, I will apply the treatment all over, including my roots. This gives a deep conditioning effect to my dry hair and helps smooth frizzy fly-aways! The scent will linger for hours too.
These products work really well together and the combination of the fruity scents is lovely.
Unfortunately I won't be re-purchasing these items at the moment because Avon is no longer cruelty-free. This is really disappointing because I like lots of Avon products. I hope Avon will re-think their actions and become cruelty-free again!
Have you tried these products? What were your thoughts?
