On-Trend for SS14: Pastel Pink | Fashion

This will be my first of many SS14 trends posts. Pastels are huge for Spring/Summer 2014, and as there are so many beautiful pastel pieces out there, I thought I'd break up the pastels trend into colours so that I can showcase more items for you to look at.
Today we are looking at pink items, focusing on the pastel shade but with a few other pinks thrown in.
1. Juleen Bouclé Mini Skirt, £109 @ Ted Baker
Oh, I do love a bit of bouclé! This mini skirt actually incorporates two shades of pink as the the back is a neon pink colour in non-bouclé material. Perfect for dressing up or down.
2. Basic Blazer, £25.99 @ Pull&Bear
This pale pink blazer can also be dressed up or down and features a cute polka dot silky lining which you can place on show by turning up the sleeves for a casual daytime look.
3. Pink Textured Skater Dress, £24.99 by Quiz @ Debenhams
Textured pink always looks wonderful and this skater dress is no exception. This features a pretty, jewelled neckline and figure-flattering panelling. This too would look wonderful day or night.
4. Georgia Winged Handheld Bag, £32 @ Accessorize
Now, strictly speaking, this bag is actually lilac in colour, but I think I can get away with including it in this post! It's such a simple yet sophisticated design and the gold-tone hardware works well with this shade.
5. Pink Leather Snake Satchel, £45 @ River Island
I'm loving this updated version of the satchel! I love the contrasting black piping and stitching and again the gold-tone hardware works well with this shade of pink.
6. Candy Swirl Cable Jumper, £25 @ Dorothy Perkins
For chillier days, this chunky-knit acrylic jumper will keep you cosy and on-trend. Team with light-wash denim jeans.
7. Cotton-Blend Piqué Skinny Pants, £225 by Moschino Cheap & Chic @ Net-a-Porter
For a truly feminine, tailored look, try these gorgeous baby-pink textured skinny trousers. Pair with a silky top for a sophisticated look.
8. Feeling Festive Waffle Knit Sweater, £19.75 @ Forever 21
This muted-pink sweater features metallic threading and a gorgeous chiffon trim. This piece will give you an effortless, chic look!
9. F&F Supersoft Bardot Jumper, £10 @ Tesco
This soft-pink acrylic jumper with Bardot-style neckline is really simple yet it looks quite luxe, and for just £10 you really can't go wrong! This is a really versatile piece that could become a wardrobe staple.
10. Faux Ostrich Waist Belt, £8 @ ASOS
Spruce up a white dress or light jeans with this pretty, faux leather belt.
11. Technical Fabric Top with Jewel, £29.99 @ Zara
This gorgeous top features scuba-like material and pretty jewel detail. This has a sporty (also on-trend!) feel but is kept feminine with the colour and added sparkle!
12. Grin Platform Court Shoes, £120 @ Kurt Geiger
Dazzle your look with these diamante-covered heels!
13. Tab Loafers, £14.99 @ Deichmann
Jazz up your casual day look with these cute, studded loafers.
14. Woven Tribal Statement Necklace, £18 @ Warehouse
This tribal (also on-trend!) bib necklace features woven details and beading.

  1. Dying over that accesorize bag. AMAZING!

  2. There are so many good items in this post - The skater dress is my favourite followed by the bardot jumper - All of the items are lovely though :0)

  3. I love the snake satchel from River Island. It looks far more expensive than what it is. I love pink but don't actually have much of it. Thank you for the inspiration xxx
