Can Your Partner Buy You Lingerie? | An M&S Collaboration

Marks and Spencer recently contacted me to ask if Dean and I would be interested in their Christmas gift buying project;
Can Your Husband Buy You Lingerie?
As I'm sure you know, men don't have a great reputation when it comes to buying lingerie for their other half; they often buy the wrong size, style or colour. A recent survey revealed that £100 million has been wasted by men on lingerie for their partners due to their poor choices. One in four women have been found to discard their partner's lingerie gifts after wearing it only once due to it being the wrong size, style e.t.c.

So, to put this to the test, M&S wanted to give select bloggers' partners the chance to buy the right lingerie for us ladies.

Dean was kindly sent a £40 M&S gift card to spend on lingerie either in-store or online. It was up to me how many clues I gave him as to what I wanted. The only clues I gave him were reminding him of my size and I said I wanted something a bit different and special. It was up to him if he looked at my current lingerie collection for some inspiration.

I had a good browse of the M&S lingerie ranges and these were my favourites:

Limited Collection Sequin Embellished Push-Up & Plunge Longline Bra, £17.50 and Limited Collection Sequin Embellished Brazilian Knickers, £? (item no longer stocked or discontinued)

I made sure to clear my browser history and then Dean later made his purchases online.
They arrived a few days later and this is what he presented me with:

Rosie for Autograph Rose Print Silk Padded Bra with French Designed Rose Lace*, £25 & Rosie for Autograph Rose Print Silk Brazilian Knickers with French Designed Rose Lace*, £12.50

So, how did he do?
I actually don't remember seeing these when I was browsing the website. The print is not something I'd usually go for, but that shows that Dean listened when I said I wanted something a bit "different". I love that these contain real silk and the lace trims are really pretty. I love the colourway and the rose print is gorgeous. He got the correct sizes and the styles are suited to me.
Dean said what drew him to purchasing these items was the fact that they contained real silk, which added a touch of luxury, he liked the lace detail and the rose print. He also read through the reviews for these items to see what others thought of them.
So, overall, I think Dean did really well and I love this lingerie set! The bra is very comfortable and flattering. It sits really well and there is no gaping. The knickers are also a great fit.

Which M&S lingerie set is your favourite?

*These items were paid for by Marks & Spencer for the purpose of this collaboration.
