Statement Necklaces: Top 10 Picks | Fashion

When I think statement necklace, I think BIG, bold & beautiful! All important factors when it comes to choosing a statement necklace. I'm slowly building my "collection" (if you can call two a collection) and thought I'd share with you my top ten picks!

1. Combined Chain Necklace, £19.99 @ Zara
This spiky necklace has a punk edge to it. I love the black and red checked fabric component.
2. Bold Ombré Layered Chain Necklace, £8.40 @ Forever 21
Although I'm not a lover of gold jewellery, I like this necklace as I think gold and green complement each other well. I love the ombré design!
3. Filigree Gem Necklace, £8 @ Asda
This piece has a Gothic feel to it. With the big jewel in the centre, this makes a bold statement yet the intricacy of the rest of the design makes it delicate enough for an elegant look.

4. Lauren Metallic Chunky Chain Necklace, £8 @ Boohoo
I really like the chain-style necklaces and I love the addition of the diamante piece on this one which makes it stand out.
5. Pink Faux Pearl Cluster Necklace, £15 @ River Island
I love the ribbon tie on this one; it's really pretty!
6. Red Herring Starry Night Cluster Necklace, £6 @ Debenhams
Firstly, amazing value! This one isn't quite as big and bold a design as the others, but I still think it makes a statement! I love the star design and the mix of silver, gold and black.
7. Extra Chunky Link Chain, £20 @ Topshop
It's the petrol-blue iridescent colour that really makes this chain necklace stand out.

8. Chainmail & Spear Necklace, £25 @ ASOS
I love the layers and spear detail on this silver necklace.
9. Opulent Beaded Bib Necklace, £495 by Matthew Williamson @ Net-a-Porter
This is such a vibrant piece that I think it would look best with a simple black dress; this needs to be the only statement item in your outfit! Made with faceted lime and emerald crystals.
10. Ultimate Disco Collar Necklace, £25 @ Accessorize
Glam up your outfit with this gorgeous necklace featuring gem and crystal embellishment.
