The Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2014 collection, created by Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough, started with the concept of domesticity. The designers looked to eclectic artists and furniture designers for inspiration. With this collection, we see big, bold fastenings like the turnlock detail on the coat, beautiful metalwork and gorgeous shoe designs. The metallic foil detail in the pleated skirt is gorgeous and the fabric just flows beautifully. The tasseled clutch looks amazing. Lots of textures and handcrafted details in this collection.
